Nowadays, most of the things we do on regular basis with our internet connection are research purposes. But, these days, mostly of all the internet connectivity methods we have are working against their users will – most of them aren’t performing well as they are supposed to. Have you ever come into conclusion that your computer limits more than 20% of your internet connection bandwidth? So I’m ready to show you how to override these settings so that you can use your network to its fullest capacity.
PS: Don’t forget that this how-to guide is only applicable to users that are working within the Windows operating systems family. On my side here, I’m using the Windows 7 operating system as well and I shall be sharing with you how to make your internet connection work faster.
You should now that before we can get started, you will need to have an administrator privileges on your PC before you can be able to do any of these things we’re about to do.
Step 2: The Group Policy Editor windows is where you can overrule the settings that were already programmed on your system as you want, but you must be sure of having some basic knowledge of configuring these settings.
Follow the techniques and steps below, on Administrative Privileges >> Network >>QoS Packet Scheduler and you will see the settings page there.
Step 3: You will see there an option that is labelled Limit Reservable bandwidth. By default, these option has not been configured which means that your computer is working directly with the direct factory settings by your computer manufacturer. Double-click on it and change the Bandwidth limit percentage to 0 and then click the “enabled” option.
Once you are done with that, save the setting and then close the configuration panel. Restart your computer once you are done with the configuration and you will see changes in your internet connection performance.
