The Galaxy S IV makes its debut on Thursday, and you can watch the unveiling right here on TechHolics via Techhive.
Our colleagues at IDG News Service will live stream Samsung’s announcement from New York’s Radio City Music Hall, which you can watch below. Our own Jason Snell is also in New York for the Galaxy S IV launch. You can follow his tweets of the event; he’ll also provide some on-the-scene analysis once Samsung brings things to a close.
Expectations are high for Samsung’s new phone. A round-up of rumors prior to the Galaxy S IV’s debut predicts everything from eye-scrolling navigation to a 13-megapixel camera.
The stakes may be just as high as the expectations. Rivals Sony and HTC have already taken the wraps off flagship phones this year, in the form of the Xperia Z and the HTC One. It will be interesting to see how Samsung sets its latest offering apart from other Android devices. Then there’s Apple—with the Cupertino, Calif.-based company waiting until fall lately to roll out its latest iPhone iteration, Samsung has the chance to set the tone for the rest of the smartphone market in the months to come.
Samsung’s Galaxy S IV event begins at 7 p.m. ET, 4 p.m. PT on Thursday.
Would love to here from you...
