I am also new to Google Adsense and have discovered that there is no any formula of finding the best Adsense Units for your blog.You need to do experiments with your Ad units.Try different Ad units and use the one which gives you more.For me,the largest Ad unit has always done better but you can’t say that it will also do well with your blog.Actually,it depends upon the design of your blog.
2-CUSTOMIZE THE LOOK OF YOUR ADS
For maximizing your Adsense Profit,customize your Ads Palette and make sure that your Ads match with the color of your blog.Have a look on its background and border color and make sure that it matches with your blog’s background colour.This would make your Ads look like natural web links and thus will increase your CTR and you will earn more.
3-ALWAYS PLACE YOUR ADS ON TOP
If you are placing Adsense Ads at the end of your page then you will definitely make less because no one will click on your Ads on such location.If you want to make more then move your Ads to the top position like header,below post title and on the top of the sidebar.Just test it.It will increase your earnings.
4-ADD LINKS TO YOUR OTHER POSTS AND USE KEYWORDS
Most of the people doesn’t believe that it is helpful but it has helped me a lot.I have experienced that a post which has more links brings more income.This is how it works.Users want to get full information about some topics so they will visit your older post as well but make sure that your links contains related contains otherwise it will have negative impact on them and they will leave your site.
Keywords are always important because Ads which appears on your site assumes the keyword.To earn more,use high paying keyword and make sure that you use these keyword more than once in your contents.
5-USE IMAGE AND TEXT ADS WISELY
This is one great aspect you need to look into.If you are a blogger and using Adsense Ads on your blog then you must enable both Text and Image Ads.It will increase the number of Advertisements which will be displayed on your blog and thus will increase your chances of earning more.
However if you are using any education blog then,text links Ads will bring more than Image Ads because it creates confusion among visitors and they click on these Ads to get some information.
