Lava Iris 414 smartphone launched at Rs 4,049



NEW DELHI: Indian brand Lava has listed an ultra-cheap smartphone, named Iris 414, on its official website. Priced at Rs 4,049, the new Iris 414 smartphone is powered by Android 4.4 (KitKat) operating system.

On the hardware front, Lava's latest model has a 4-inch TFT screen with 480x800p resolution and packs a 1GHz processor with 512MB RAM under the hood. It comes with 4GB internal storage and supports microSD cards with capacities up to 32GB.

On the back of Iris 414 is a 3.2MP autofocus camera with digital zoom and LED flash, while a VGA camera can be used for selfies. It can access the internet over Wi-Fi, 3G and 2G networks and transfer data via microUSB and Bluetooth 2.1. Its 1,400mAh battery offers talk time of up to 12 hours on 2G networks, Lava claims.

The new smartphone is 10.4mm thick and weighs 110gram.

It will compete against the likes of Karbonn A6 Turbo and Intex Aqua N7.
