In this article you will learn how blog posting can increase traffic to your website and how you can leverage this fact by making sales right from within the blog posts that you are writing. You will also learn how you can find out what types of blog posts people are engaging in and how you can take advantage of this information.
Blogs are becoming ever more popular and for good reason, they are a great way of being found in the search engines. Search engines like Bing and Google love to promote fresh new content to their users and by writing new blog posts you are keeping your website fresh.
A blog post is a great place to write a review of a product that you are promoting, at the end of the post you place your affiliate link for the reader to purchase the product. Embedded inside of the post you can have a YouTube video that you have recorded about your product, then have lots of photo's and a great description in your post. The more detail and the better the description the better your post is.
Provide as much detail as you can, both good and bad, about the product you are promoting. Try not to be biased and not make it obvious that you are trying to sell them the product, no one likes being sold to.
You can write different types of posts,, a how to, an instructional post, a product review post, an informational post, a tips post. They do not all have to have an affiliate link embedded in them.
It would not be a good idea to have every post promoting an affiliate link. This will look very self-serving and could turn people and potential customers, away from your blog. Write a mixture of posts and keep it both informative and interesting.
Read and visit lots of peoples blog's in your niche and get a feel for the type of post that people like to read. You can tell this by the amount of comments people have made at the end of the post. You should read them and get a feel for the type of people who are reading and purchasing in your industry.
Join in with your community. You can easily join groups on Facebook and Twitter and start making your own comments inside of other peoples blog's. If they are great comments, not 'cool post', but informative and intellectual you will find that other people will notice you and come to your blog to read what you have written about and perhaps read one of your product reviews and make a purchase through your affiliate link.
Would love to here from you...
