Few days ago Google unveiled Google Nexus 7 tablet. Today Archos launched its first budget tablet with full Google Play access.
Dubbed as Archos 97 Carbon, the 9.7-inch tablet is the first of the new Elements series of the company. The tablet offers a resolution of 1024×768 pixels with multitouch screen. The future models of the series would be 7- and 8-inch tablets.
Similar to Google Nexus 7, the new tablet of Archos will give full access to Google Play. It is just priced $250 to the maximum.
Archos 97 Carbon is a bit thicker than Apple’s iPad but less in weight. It is equipped with ARM Cortex-A8 1 GHz processor, 1GH of RAM as well as 16GB of Flash memory for storage. It can also be expanded to up to 32GB of memory via microSD cards. The device also got two cameras and runs of Android 4.0 ICS OS.
