This iPhone 6 Concept With 4.7-inch Display Looks Like

Being the raging tech fans that we are, particularly when it comes to new and exciting gadgetry, it should come as very little surprise that talk has already progressed with regards to the next iPhone. Depending on what’s being said and who’s saying it, Apple could be planning another two-pronged assault on the smartphone market, and although the iPhone 5c and 5s represented the first dual release since the iPhone’s inception, it’s fair to say that we could be in for a couple of even more exciting treats this time around. We spoke earlier of the possibility of a 5.5-inch and 4.7-inch model, and although the report was based on some loose estimations, once concept maker has already come through with some intriguing renders of a 4.7-inch iPhone 6. Check it out in all of its glory after the break!
The iPhone 5s has been heavily lauded since arriving in September, with a vastly improved processor, Touch ID fingerprint sensor, and enhanced camera. But even though the latest and greatest has its fair share of admirers, the fact that it is dwarfed by most other flagship handsets hasn’t gone unnoticed, even by some of the die-hard Apple fans themselves.

Thus, now seems like as good a time as any for Tim Cook’s team to join the crowd and offer a larger display. Yet while a 5.5-inch model seems slightly excessive given that Apple tends to ease new features into the fold rather than come through with anything drastic, the prospect of a 4.7-inch display does seem a great deal more plausible. Not only that, but the device itself should still be comfortable enough to hold, and by maintaining the same aspect ratio, it won’t be too much effort for developers to optimizeapps.

But while we can talk ad nauseam about these upcoming devices, sometimes it’s nice to simply kick back and take a look at things from a design point of view, and since these concepts often leave us wishing they were the real deal, this latest one from Alex Casabo doesn’t disappoint.
He dreams up a bunch of specs, including an A8 processor (a quad-core jobby clocked at 1.2ghz), 1930mAh battery, and a 600 dpi display which – yes – is very much overkill.
