There’s no denying that thanks to the likes of Instagram, people taking pictures of themselves and posting them onto social networks is in vogue. If you’ve been looking for an efficient way to take self-shots on your device without having to go through the rigmarole of finding your camera app and switching the lends to front-facing, then a new tweak called, but of course,Selfie, will help you achieve this.
The tweak itself is actually top-notch, doing exactly the job it purports to do with very minimal fuss. The camera sits under the dock, and when you feel like taking a selfie, you simply slide the dock in an upward fashion, and you’re ready to snap.
Sure, if you’re not in a rush, then locating the Camera app is not going to be a problem for you. But it’s often the case that we want to take these snaps of ourselves in the spur of the moment, and if, in particular, we’re with friends and looking to take a quick group snap, time can be of the essence.
Besides, if there’s a way of accessing a feature in a quicker fashion than available at stocklevel, then it’s always worth having on board, so even if you’re not vain, narcissistic individual, Selfie is still a tweak worth having in the repertoire.
It must be pointed out that Selfie is not compatible with iPad, so please do not make the purchase under the pretence that you can do so. And we’re glad that it’s not. Just don’t make a fool of yourself in public while taking a photo with a tablet. We mean it!
Selfie costs 99 cents, and can be downloaded from the BigBoss repository in Cydia. Sure, it’s a relatively base-level tweak, but it does exactly what it says on the tin, and notably, will save you quite a bit of time if you happen to be a frequent user of the front-facing camera.
Would love to here from you...
