In performance desktops, the Dell OptiPlex 960 had a blazing fast Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550, a processor very few systems came with. This month, I tested the Dell Inspiron 545s. It's a fancy looking desktop but one that has more than just beauty on its side. While the OptiPlex 960 has brute processing power hidden under its compact little shell, the Inspiron 545s gives the user style and performance - in games and graphics intensive applications. With a price, that's lower than the OptiPlex, I give it my thumbs up and also the Best Performer award.
