The Web giant Yahoo would consider leaving the area of online search engine and would sell it to Microsoft.
Sign of the times and end of an era, Yahoo, one of the pioneers of Internet search is in turmoil and is about to abandon its search engine. According to the site AllThingsD, the Sunnyvale firm could then sell its research activities on the Web to Microsoft technologies and also its targeted advertising and sponsored links online for Google.
