Everyone is waiting for Samsung’s next big smartphone to hit the market and Korean company is also planning to hold its next Global release event in the middle of March this year. Next global release event means Samsung is going to release its next big thing “Samsung Galaxy S5″. According to the latest rumours and reports, S5 will have many interesting features in the same price as Galaxy S4. 1. Weather Proof and dust proof
For the first time in the Samsung’s Galaxy S series company is going to release a weather proof and dust proof premium smartphone.

2. 64-Bit processor
At the moment Apple’s iPhone 5s is the world’s first 64-bit smartphone and everyone knows that the Samsung is known for providing real competitor to iPhone. That’s why Samsung Galaxy S5 will have 64-bit processor and that will make it the first android phone with 64-bit processor.
3. Eye scanner
The most interesting feature in the Galaxy S5 will be eye scanning. At the moment iPhone 5S has finger print scanner but Samsung is planning to add eye scanner in its next premium phone. So, Galaxy S5 will unlock itself after scanning your eyes. On CES 2014 Samsung representative suggested that “we are not sure that S5 will have iris scanner or not”. But chances for its still exists.
4. Metal Body
Again unlike the other phones in the galaxy s series Samsung is going to introduce metal body phone. So, this time instead of polycarbonate body, Galaxy s5 will feature metal body. A Korean magazine reported that “Catcher” is going to make metal bodies for Samsung during the first half of 2014, aluminium and magnesium are the likely materials.
5. Fast and superior camera
According the latest reports that Samsung have developed a new 13 mega pixels camera module with superior anti shake image stabilisation. The anti shake image stabilisation supports correction upto 1.5 degrees while existing image stabilisation for current smartphones tops at 0.7 degrees. If this is true for Samsung Galaxy s5 then it will make it much special than its competitors.
6. LCD
This time Samsung is also going to drop its super AMOLED panels to add LCD to increase battery timing of the smartphone and also to maintain the prices. Remember, Samsung is also going to do same for Galaxy Note 4.
7. 4 GB RAM
Well I don’t think its true but according to latest rumours Samsung have recently developed a new chip that will debut with Galaxy S5.
8. New Galaxy Gear
Like Galaxy S4 Korean company will also release a new galaxy gear smart watch with upcoming Galaxy S5. Although current version of the Galaxy gear was not successful to receive positive reviews due to short battery life and many restrictions but I’m sure Samsung will introduce a better version next time.
9. Head Tracking
Samsung have introduced a new head tracking application recently that can control the phone via little motions of your head. It monitors your head’s movement with the front facing camera.
