Although the packed data is not in one but in several small packets and as soon as one of them is damaged, the entire collection simply doesn't open. Luckily, the archives contain the PAR/PAR2 files which act as checksum for checking the packets.
With the QuickPar tool, open the PAR file in the program and the software takes care of everything else.
