World's most popular social network facebook is expecting to generate $1 billion revenue from social gaming this year. The prediction was made by a leading Internet Entrepreneur and Former Chief Executive of online advertising giant DoubleClick, Kevin Ryan, during his interview with Reuters this week. He also added that the most part of the revenue will come from the advertising.

The main developer of social games on the facebook, Zynga has filed for an IPO (initial public offering) on friday for $1billion and the IPO for facebook is also expected to be around $100 billion
