Hello users! In this post, I will be discussing about how you can use your twitter/twitterfeed accounts to automatically shrinks all links that you posts in your twitter and make money. In order to do this, you need to have registered an account with Adf.ly and some followers in your twitter account who can click on the links that you post. In my previous post on how to make money with Adf.ly, I explained what is adf.ly and how you can use the shortened URL service to make money.
How to Create a Twitter Account
This is part is only meant for those people who may not have a twitter account. If you already have one then you may skip this step. To register a new twitter account, go to twitter and create an account.
How to Create a Twitterfeed Account
Go to twitterfeed.com and sign up for a new account. With your new twitterfeed account, now go to Google or any other search engine and look for a website that discuss similar topics like your niche in your twitter account. Look for the RSS feed of that website (you can simply find the RSS feed just below your browser) by clicking on the arrow next to the feed icon and clicking on the link feed. If you cannot find the website feed using this method , simply go to Google and type the URL of the website that you choose to use plus RSS. For example; http://xyzz.com/rss. You will be able to find the feed of the website that you want to use in your twitter account.

The xxxxxxxx that I have put in the URL above represents my key and my ID number. Now copy and paste the URL from Adf.ly which will have your key and the ID numbers. Replace, http://somewebsite.com with your twitter account username.
You new link will look like this;
http://api.adf.ly/api.php?key=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx&uid=xxxxxxx&advert_type=int&domain=adf.ly
&url=%@xxx.
Note that the xxx represent your user name in twitter.
For the links and ads to be displayed properly without leading to a dead end, you need to remove the ad specification found in your URL by removing &advert_type=int. Adf.ly will automatically display the right ad without affecting your twitter/twitter feed account.
Your final URL will look like this;
http://api.adf.ly/api.php?key=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx&uid=xxxxxxx&domain=adf.ly&url=%@xxx
How to Use Your TwitterFeed
With your Adf.ly URL ready, go back to Twitterfeed, on your dashboard, click on create feed. Fill down the name of your tweet and the URL feed from the website that you choose.
Click on advanced settings, set how often you want the feeds from the website that you choose to be displayed in your twitter account, how many post to be displayed and any other information that you would like to set.
>Click on post link
>Select Custom
>On custom End Point - Put the URL that you made from the Adf.ly and set any other information that you wish.
>Click on continue to step 2
>On available services, click on Twitter to automatically display your tweetfeed on your twitter account. You can do the same for Facebook or your linked account.
>Authenticate by using your Twitter username. You will taken to your twittter account to authenticate.
>After that autentication, click on create service.
>Click on all done.
You will receive a congratulations message; Congratulations, you have successfully configured a feed! You are done and all feed from the website that you choose will automatically be displayed in your twitter account and every time someone click on those links, you will make some money. You can test them and find out whether everything is working properly.
How to Unsubscribe from Adf.ly Twitterfeed
Login to your twitterfeed account. Go to feeds dashboard, click on edit, on the next page at the bottom right side, you will find delete feed button, click on it. Your will no longer receive adf.ly twitterfeeds on your twitter account anymore.
